James Jack (he/him) is a Linda G. Hammett Ory fellow at EdRedesign and a proud member of a community of family, friends, and mentors who continue to support and teach him through their words and actions. Abby Hiller is an economics writer at the Becker Friedman Institute. She previously worked at Opportunity Insights, a Harvard-based economics research institute, where she translated empirical microeconomics research for general audiences. Abby holds a BA in Government from Cornell University and is interested in increasing public understanding of social science research.

Shilpa Bhongir

Shilpa Bhongir is a cross-sector leadership associate at EdRedesign and a current masters student of education leadership, organizations and entrepreneurship at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to HGSE, Shilpa was the director of college programs at Rivet School, a nonprofit reimagining the college experience for working adults through a flexible and affordable program. Shilpa is passionate about holistic and integrated student supports specifically for first-generation and nontraditional students, as well as the intersection of economic security and education equity.

Rachel Ward is a dedicated servant leader and child advocate committed to enhancing the well-being of communities, families, and children.
