Linda G. Hammett Ory Fellow
James Jack (he/him) is a Linda G. Hammett Ory fellow at EdRedesign and a proud member of a community of family, friends, and mentors who continue to support and teach him through their words and actions. Within the Harvard community, James plays two primary roles, a doctoral student and a teaching fellow. In his role as a doctoral student, he draws on organizational and sociological theories to understand how organizations can support the institutionalization of countercultural values and practices. As a teaching fellow, he works to translate his research into practice by creating and maintaining humanizing and empowering learning spaces.
