This case study chronicles the individual experiences of the Partnership for Resilience's leadership and staff. The Partnership is a member of EdRedesign's By All Means initiative. Collectively, the case illustrates how each person's connection to the Southland has shaped their career trajectory and motivates their ongoing work. The piece concludes with a set of key takeaways that can inform other communities who are interested in engaging local residents in place-based efforts to support children and youth. Student Success Planning Learning Community Launch & Webinar on Comprehensive Supports

EdRedesign has launched a new learning community for school leaders, educators, community-based organizations and others interested in creating personalized, relationship-driven approaches to serving children. During the inaugural session, participants discussed the current needs of young people in their community and shared what their organization, school, or distict already has in development to address these needs. Ellen Wrigley

Ellen Wrigley manages administrative and financial matters at EdRedesign. Before joining EdRedesign, she spent fifteen cumulative years at Boston University, taking a break to attend to her growing family. At BU, she served as the administrator for the Editorial Institute, and managed faculty actions processes for the College of Arts and Sciences. She supports her children’s school communities by serving on the school council and PTO board. Ellen has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Boston University.

Student Success Planning Cost Estimate Tool

Student Success Planning has a range of potential costs that vary depending on the particular design. This interactive tool enables school districts, communities, policymakers, and researchers to identify the costs associated with the four components of the Success Planning framework. In order to use the tool, you will need to download the excel spreadsheet. You will then be able to edit the spreadsheet and enter your school or community's specific information related to Success Planning.
