An accidental sociologist, Richard Tagle was on his way to becoming an investment banker when an elective class opened his eyes on the role that nonprofit organizations play in sparking social change. He shifted gears, studied research and policy, and continues to build a career focused on improving children's education and health outcomes. Currently, he is President of E3 Alliance whose mission is to transform education systems through data and collaboration so all students can succeed. Prior to this, Richard was CEO of various organizations including Denver Public Schools Foundation, Andy Roddick Foundation, and Higher Achievement. He also served as Chief of Staff at Public Education Network and as Senior Associate at US Conference of Mayors' Health Program. Richard received his undergraduate degree in Sociology from American University in Washington, DC and his graduate degree in Applied Sociology/Social Policy from the same institution.
