Join us for the third session in the Success Planning Virtual Learning Series, “Every Student Known”: What Did It Take to Implement Metro Nashville Public Schools' Navigator Initiative? In 2020, Metro Nashville Public Schools developed a districtwide strategy to respond to the Covid pandemic, pairing students with a caring adult, called a Navigator, to ensure students feel known, cared for, respected, and supported. It has since become integral to the district’s “Every Student Known” vision. During a panel conversation with Guest Speaker Dr. Adrienne Battle, Metro Nashville’s Director of Schools and other Metro Nashville leaders, moderated by EdRedesign’s Institute for Success Planning Director Tauheedah Jackson, leaders will share and reflect on what enabled them to successfully launch and sustain the Navigator initiative.
