Rahkiah Brown is the CEO of the South City Foundation (SCF) in Tallahassee, FL. As a member of the Purpose Built Community Network, SCF's mission is resident-centered, revitalization of the historic South City Neighborhood using a multi-pillar approach. Rahkiah is a passionate community collaborations strategist who brings people together to solve problems by stewarding resources effectively and equitably, with a focus on collective impact and engagement. She enjoys engaging diverse stakeholders to assess community needs and align efforts with community priorities. Rahkiah studied Family, Youth, and Community Sciences at UF and has 17 years of nonprofit community-based experience. Before moving to Tallahassee in October 2023, she was the Director of Community Impact at the United Way of North Central Florida, managing grants distribution and guiding community impact strategy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, beach days, trying new restaurants, and exploring nature.
