Kevin Chen

Kevin Chen is a research assistant at EdRedesign and is currently a master’s in public policy (MPP) candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School. At his time at HKS, he was a research assistant for the Equitable Future of Work Initiative with Dr. Angela Jackson from the Harvard School of Education where he helped conduct research and write op-eds on the future of work initiatives. He also served as the co-editor-in chief for the Asian American Policy Review and most recently interned at the Education Strategy Group (ESG) conducting literature reviews to support their career readiness portfolio

Aleksei Opacic

Aleksei is a Linda G. Hammett Ory fellow at EdRedesign, a Ph.D. student in Sociology, and a Harvard Kennedy scholar. His research focuses on inequality in higher education, in particular, principles of allocation, accountability and equity in colleges that can promote upward mobility among disadvantaged populations. Before starting at Harvard, Aleksei worked as a policy researcher at a London-based think tank. He obtained a BA in Social and Political Science from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Sociology from the University of Oxford.

Inella Ray

Inella Ray is an Institute for Success Planning Community of Practice intern. She is a passionate and vigorous advocate for children and youth. She believes in creating a world where children's and youth's futures are actively invested in, and their potential is systematically protected. She leverages experience from the out-of-school time space, systems-level and policy change, teacher recruitment, and youth development. Currently, she serves as the director of parent advocacy & engagement at Children First—a Pennsylvania political advocacy group advocating for children and youth by enacting
