Rebuilding for a New Normal: A Study of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Trauma-Responsive Schools and Key Recommendations for Communities
Published by EdRedesign's By All Means member, Partnership for Resilience, this report examines the impact of the pandemic on students, families, teachers, and other school staff in partner districts in Illinois and offers key recommendations for moving forward. The Partnership spoke with 87 administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, and trauma responsive school experts and provided a set of recommendations for meeting the significant challenges posed by the pandemic. The report may be of particular interest to schools or districts contemplating the introduction of trauma-responsive or whole child practices during the pandemic.
