Tamesha Webb
Originally from Long Island, New York, Tamesha is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D) degree at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), with the goal of becoming a superintendent and founding a national network of public all-girls schools. Prior to attending HGSE, Tamesha served as an Assistant Principal in Boston Public Schools, where her school achieved remarkable teacher retention and academic growth.
Tamesha began her career in education as a Teach For America Corps Member in Baltimore, Maryland, serving as an elementary teacher. She then transitioned back to New York, where she taught middle school history to the best kids in Brooklyn and later led as an Instructional Coach for Relay Graduate School of Education.
While Tamesha is passionate about school leadership, her dedication to supporting Black girls in schools drives her work. She has been instrumental in designing, developing, and launching various all-girls schools across the country through professional development and consulting. Tamesha earned her BA from Clark Atlanta University and holds two master's degrees, one from Johns Hopkins University and another from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
