Prerna Srivastava is a Wendy D. Puriefoy Cross-Sector Leadership Fellow at EdRedesign and a Doctor in Education Leadership (Ed.L.D.) candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Over the course of the past 20 years, Prerna has served across multiple sectors – from scaling an HIV prevention program across 30 health centers in rural Rwanda, to devising curricula for a business coaching program for over 500 minority-owned businesses nationally, to serving as teacher, school leader, and principal coach in NYC, Philly, and Camden district and charter schools. Additionally, Prerna is the Founder & Executive Director of Camp Desi Roots, a summer program that empowers South Asian youth to forge a deeply rooted sense of self through storytelling. Prerna received her BA from Bryn Mawr College, her MAT from Relay Graduate School of Education, and her MPP from Harvard Kennedy School.
