Komal Goel

Komal Goel is a Data and Evaluation Associate at EdRedesign and a Mid-Career Master's in Public Administration candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School. As a development practitioner and policy researcher in India, she worked as a Research Manager at J-PAL at MIT, where she was awarded the Young Leader Fellowship for her work on large-scale randomized controlled trials in partnership with organizations like the World Bank, Gates Foundation, and USAID. Komal also holds an MBA and is the founder and former Executive Director of Swayam, a grassroots organization supporting entrepreneurs from vulnerable rural communities. With over 14 years of experience in financial inclusion and sustainable livelihoods, she is passionate about advancing socio-economic mobility. When she’s not working, you’ll find her walking by the Charles or enjoying strong coffee with friends.
