Jill Gomez
Jill Gomez is the Inaugural Executive Director of the Poughkeepsie Children’s Cabinet (PCC), which serves as a cross-sector backbone structure building a cradle-to-career system of services, supports, and opportunities for Poughkeepsie youth. She joins the PCC with over 15 years’ nonprofit leadership experience working with vulnerable youth focused on education equity, family-centered program design, and community building. Most recently, Jill spent six years as the Executive Director of the Hunts Point Alliance for Children in the South Bronx where she led collaborative neighborhood strategies, worked to elevate Hunts Point’s strengths and opportunities for city-wide collaboration to address families’ challenges, and oversaw direct service programs for families and youth ages 0-24. Jill received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and Masters of Law (Ll.M.) in International Law and Human Rights from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. She is passionate about exposing all children to opportunities that identify their unique perspectives and skills, and spark their curiosity.
