Andre Dukes is Vice President of Family and Community Impact at the Northside Achievement Zone. He oversees the family program and community engagement strategies, which focus on ensuring that NAZ scholars are supported by an ecosystem of caring, knowledgeable and empowered adults. Before joining NAZ, Andre worked for several years as a community Pastor and worked in partnership with City and County agencies on issues of youth violence prevention. He co-authored an article on Reproductive Justice and Supports for Young Fathers and created Proud Papa, a curriculum for fathers. Andre holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology and a Masters degree in Applied Child and Adolescent Development with emphasis on Infant Mental Health and Early Childhood from the University of Minnesota Center for Early Education Development. He also serves on multiple boards and committees in support of child well-being.
