Ana-Sofia Gonzalez

Ana-Sofia Gonzalez (she/they) is a Wendy D. Puriefoy Cross-Sector Leadership Fellow at EdRedesign. She is a proud Tex-Mexican and former middle school social studies teacher driven by a passion for socioeconomic justice. After graduating from The University of Texas at San Antonio with BA in Global Affairs and Political Science, she became a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Medellin, Colombia. Since then, she has served her community in various capacities including as an AmeriCorps member, Teach For America educator, and voter deputy registrar for Bexar and Dallas County. She is pursuing an MPP at Harvard Kennedy School and hopes to become a career-long advocate for educational equity in the American Southwest.
