EdRedesign’s Institute for Success Planning is excited to announce Session I in our 2024-25 Success Planning Virtual Learning Series, "Personalizing Supports for Families and Children," featuring  Tauheedah Jackson, Deputy Director at EdRedesign and Director of EdRedesign's Institute for Success Planning, Lynne Sacks, Research Director at EdRedesign, and Celina Castro-Saelao, Director of Mission Promise Neighborhood (MPN) Partnerships at the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA).

This webinar will illustrate the powerful strategy of pairing families and children with caring Navigators who build trusting relationships to connect them to personalized supports and opportunities that promote their success and well-being. Using EdRedesign's recent case study, “‘ When Families Thrive, Children Succeed’: How the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) Built a Transformational Prenatal to Career Model ” as a foundation, presenters will illustrate MEDA’s Family Success Coach model and situate that strategy within EdRedesign’s Success Planning framework.

During the session, attendees will:

  • Gain an understanding of the Success Planning strategy and how MEDA is putting it in place in the Mission district of San Francisco.
  • Identify potential points of entry within their own communities for creating a system of personalized, relationship-based supports and opportunities for families and children.
  • Have an opportunity to ask questions relevant to their work.
