Schools and communities are grappling with how to best support student learning and development in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, our new report, All of Who I Am, lifts up the voices of young people who emphasize that supporting their learning means supporting all the dimensions of their lives. But what does this look like in our current context, when many young people have indicated that the pandemic and the transition to virtual learning have left them feeling disconnected, concerned about their physical and mental health, and uncertain about their educational futures?

During this webinar, listen to and learn along with adults and young people from three schools utilizing a whole-child approach. School leaders will discuss some of the innovative ways they have continued to support young people’s social, emotional, and cognitive development in the context of COVID-19. Young people will share their experiences of learning from home and will discuss some essential components of their learning, regardless of where it happens. Together, they’ll reflect on what it takes to support strong relationships, student voice and choice, and meaningful learning in virtual or hybrid environments.
