Jacqueline Calderón Perl serves as the By All Means Consultant to Oakland, CA. She also serves as a Project Manager with the Oakland Thrives Leadership Council where she mobilizes and supports on-the-ground practitioners, administrators, policymakers, community leaders and others to identify and address ongoing opportunities for collaborative action to improve educational experiences and outcomes for Oakland youth and families. Previously, Jacqueline worked for the Oakland Unified School District for seven years, where she served the students and families of East Oakland PRIDE Elementary as a 2nd grade bilingual teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and principal. Jacqueline is a Teach for America and New Leaders Alumnus. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master in Public Policy Analysis from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley. Jacqueline lives in San Leandro, CA with her husband, who works in affordable housing, and their two sons (4 years old and 5 months old).
