Jacqueline Calderón Perl serves as the By All Means Community Lead to Oakland, CA. She is also the Director of Health, Safety, and Education for the Oakland Thrives Leadership Council where she mobilizes and supports on-the-ground practitioners, administrators, policymakers, community leaders and partners to identify and act on critical opportunities for collective action in service of improved outcomes for Oakland's children, youth, families, and community. Previously, Jacqueline worked for the Oakland Unified School District, where she served the students and families of East Oakland PRIDE Elementary as a 2nd grade bilingual teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and principal. Jacqueline is a Teach for America and New Leaders Alumnus. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master in Public Policy Analysis from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
