Henry O’Connell is a research assistant at EdRedesign and a second year Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School and holds a B.A. in Political Science from U.C. Berkeley. This summer, he worked with the Opportunity Institute to analyze the distributional equity and efficacy of California Community Schools Partnership Program grants. Prior to Harvard, Henry spent five years working for the San Francisco Unified School District on issues ranging from school integration to healthy school meals. He hopes to return to the Bay Area after graduating to advance policies that better serve children and families.
