Daniel Curtis is a Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School. His interests include cross-sector collaboration, equitable education funding, the teacher workforce, and college and career readiness. Prior to his graduate studies, Daniel served as a researcher at a state think tank in Connecticut where he published reports across social policy areas, including education funding and tax reform. Daniel got his start in the fight for educational equity teaching high school English in Richmond, California through Teach for America. As an undergraduate, he served as a student body representative on a committee of faculty and staff charged with reforming his college’s curricular model. Daniel received his B.A. in Political Science from Amherst College and hails from Milton, MA.
