Alan is a Master of Public Health student in the Health and Social Behavior program at the Harvard School of Public Health. His interests are in applied research and science, using mixed-methods, system science, and participatory, community-based approaches to design, implement, and evaluate policies and programs to create justice for youth and the adults that surround them. Before graduate school, some of his past experiences have been doing analysis, monitoring, and fieldwork for an RCT improving education and well-being through participatory engagement for rural children in Afghanistan and Pakistan, identifying best practices to scale up education and health programs in East Africa, and working as a Teaching Fellow for the Breakthrough Collaborative. 
 
Alan also received his Mater’s in Education in Human Development and Psychology at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2021, and did is undergraduate degree in Economics and Urban Studies at Washington University in St. Louis.
