Racism and COVID-19: Inequities and Policing

Calls for social justice and police reform have gained momentum as unrest continues across the country in the wake of the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and Rayshard Brooks. In this Q&A, David Harris, Managing Director of the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute for Race & Justice at Harvard Law School, discussed the drivers of current unrest and issues of police injustice and steps to consider to create a more just society. Presented jointly by The Forum at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and The World from PRX and WGBH on June 18, 2020.
