Great Divide Town Hall: What will it take for you to feel safe when schools reopen?

When
-

Join the Globe’s Great Divide team for a panel discussion featuring diverse perspectives on what a safe school reopening could, and should, look like. We’ll consider “safety” broadly -- considering the health, emotional, and educational well-being of students, families and school staff. Confirmed panelists include David Venter, the father of a child with special needs at Boston’s Green Academy; Newton schools superintendent David Fleishman; Jose Valenzuela, a teacher at Boston Latin Academy; and Sarah Dryden-Peterson,  who researches education in times of disruption and uncertainty at Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Participants are able to submit questions in advance via the registration link, by emailing the Globe team at thegreatdivide@globe.com, or in the live Q&A during the event.
