Lynne Sacks is the Associate Director of Programs and Research of the Education Redesign Lab. Lynne has over 20 years of research, non-profit, and policy experience. She is currently leading an evaluation of the Rethinking Equity and Teaching for English Language Learners (RETELL) initiative for the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and has worked with the American Institutes for Research on multiple projects. She has also served as a consultant to the Annenberg Center for School Reform, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Education, and the Commonwealth Corporation. Previously, Lynne worked for the Center for Equity and Excellence in Education at the George Washington University and for the National Center on Education and the Economy. She also spent five years as a high school English teacher.
Lynne received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and her M.Ed. and Ed.D. degrees from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is the parent of three children.
